The selection is large and divided into four zones. Note the change from Vins de Pays to IGP, or Indication Géographique Protégée.

Round, ripe Languedoc merlot with a hint of sweet plum fruit. Very easy-going.

Château de Pennautier is a Versailles-like château a few miles to the west of Carcassonne. The wines are made from both Languedoc and Bordeaux varieties. Ripe, soft and deliciously fruity.
A blend of merlot and malbec from this progressive estate in Bergerac. Full and fruity and a lovely red from the Dordogne.
