Rhone (North) - 2010
The growing conditions in 2010 were clearly exceptional with a combination of factors that very rarely happen together and the results are stunning. The Northern Rhône reds are black, fragrant, concentrated, sleek and savoury. Quality is simply wonderful throughout with fine individual efforts from all the top names. There is a special mention for Côte-Rôtie which has enjoyed its greatest vintage since 1999.
