"Consistently good champagne. Excellent value too."
Mr Alan Sleator (21-Sep-2010)
"A thoroughly enjoyable champagne which has been offered at my home for many years. It used, I think, to be dramatically attractively priced but there are now some serious competitors with the Chandon/Greenpoint well worth trying.
As always the third glass is much better than the first."
Lord Remnant (23-Nov-2009)
"This was excellent value as an everyday drinking Champagne, now less so, especially given the glut of Champagne in the overall market. I was expecting to see some good offers from the Society given the glut, but so far am disappointed. Our Christmas drinking fizz may have to come from elsewhere! Jules Camuset is a good drink but has to be competitive in its market."
Mr Colin Fuller (19-Nov-2009)
"We have been buying the Jules Camuset, normally in Montreuil-sur-Mer, for over 6 years. When faced with a wedding in the family, we bought 2 bottles each of the Society's Champagne, the Moet and the Camuset; set up a blind tasting at home with a large group and 80% of the group chose the Camuset! One of its great strengths is its consistency over the years and the very reasonable price."
Mr James A Cuming (12-Nov-2009)
"This is a light, bone dry and very refreshing style of champagne. Particularly attractive as a blend of the two red champagne grapes with chardonnay as well. The high proportion of pinot meunier comes through on the palate.
I regard it as a very good value party champagne and it was much appreciated at a recent family wedding."
Dr M Kenworthy-Browne (11-Nov-2009)
