Whisky
Members have been buying The Society's Special Highland Blend Whisky for more than a century, it being a blend unique to The Society. Recent legislation has forced us to remove the term 'Highland' from the description as the blend is not from 100% highland whiskies. It is now The Society's Special 14-Year-Old Blended Scotch Whisky. The blend itself has not altered, purely the name on the label. It remains a 14-year-old blended whisky containing first-division malts and grains originally bought from the distilleries and aged in Sherry casks before blending and bottling. No colouring is added when bottling; eagle-eyed members may spot that different bottlings are of a different hue.

Brandy, Marc and Armagnac
There is no doubt that the finest brandy produced worldwide comes from Cognac in south-west France. Our own-label VSOP Cognac is classically smooth and mellow and is proving particularly popular. The Early Landed Delamain 1986 is a classic example of a rare single-vintage Cognac, aged in a damp cellar in Bristol rather than in Cognac, and thereby gaining an extra finesse from a more gentle maturation. Truly delicious.

Other Spirits, Aperitifs & Liqueurs
The Society's own-label Chambéry, Gin and Vodka are the classic ingredients for many a cocktail. Our High Strength Gin makes a stunning gin and tonic. Both our own-label gins are London distilled and bottled and offer fine quality and value. Our fruit liqueurs come from Gabriel Boudier in Dijon, established in 1874 - the same year as The Society. They are crammed with fruit and in a class of their own. Try the framboise or cassis with sparkling wine or drizzled over vanilla ice cream.
