Chenin Blanc

Famed for its role in the wines of Vouvray and the most adaptable of the Loire’s white grapes, chenin blanc lends itself to barrel-fermentation and maturation, or to unadorned purity in both still and sparkling forms. Good natural acidity maintains freshness in the ripest of grapes, and even off-dry wines are a good match for savoury dishes, especially richer fish and white meat dishes involving cream.
