Burgundy (Cote d'Or) - 2010

Low yields and coolish weather produced concentrated wines with lovely balancing acidity. Like 2008 but a little more concentrated and richer.

There are some great wines in the vintage, notably the grands crus Corton-Charlemagnes and Chevalier-Montrachets which I strongly recommend. The Pernand-Vergelesses are the best I have ever tasted. The Mâconnais, St Aubin, Meursault and Puligny also made superb wines.
