Chablis - 2009

2009 produced some excellent Chablis, though it is important to trust your wine merchant in selecting them. A warm vintage, 2009 produced ripe and opulent wines, and the growers that got it right were those who harvested early to preserve enough acidity to balance the wines out. These wines show an abundance of texture with rich fruit flavours and they are by and large for relatively early consumption.
