Lighter Wines for Summer
Whether it's personal taste, healthy living or the need for a lighter bottle at lunch, more and more of us are looking for lower-alcohol wines that still deliver on flavour.
We've put together a range of refreshing reds and whites with a 12.5% alcohol maximum so you can explore a world of less weighty wines. Expect no compromises or invasive winemaking trickery: all of these wines achieve their lower alcohol levels through careful choice of grape varieties, cooler climates or clever viticulture.
Mixed Cases for Summer
Looking to savour as much of the sunshine as possible? Our mixed cases are designed to take the stress out of your summer wine selection, with something for everybody, leaving you more time to relax and enjoy the warmer weather.
If there's ever a time to branch out and try some of New Zealand's more adventurous offerings then this is it, with a crop of excellent bottles that I hope will prove to you that this wineland is just as capable of producing intriguing wines as the everyday favourites we've all come to love.
Ripe yet refreshing, 2016 sees a return to the typically medium-bodied and summer-friendly style of Beaujolais, in contrast to the richer 2015s. These delicious, easy-going wines make a welcome addition to any barbecue, picnic or impromptu gathering.
