Spotlight on The Society's New Exhibition Margaux 2014
This offer is open until until Sunday 12th March, 2017 while stocks last.
The True Essence Of Margaux
We have been on the lookout for a Margaux for our Exhibition range for several years, having last offered the 2004 vintage. Margaux is the largest of the Médoc's top appellations, and its best wines typically have fine perfume, silky tannins and pure, refined fruit texture, without being overtly powerful. One would think that discovering such a wine from the array of châteaux in Margaux would be straightforward, but finding the true essence of Margaux at the right price for our Exhibition label has, in recent times, eluded us … until now.
Worth The Wait
I am delighted to have unearthed a beautifully balanced and highly appealing wine from Château Brane-Cantenac, one of Margaux's finest properties. We gave a pre-shipment 'sneak preview' of it at two recent Bordeaux tastings and the wine went down extremely well, with universally positive comments from those members who tasted it.
