The Society's Touraine Sauvignon

Description

Pale yellow with lemony tints, very fresh bouquet of elderflowers and white currants, white summer fruits on the palate that perfectly capture the cool freshness of the central Loire Valley. Distinct varietal character with natural ripeness and acidity, a very good example of this popular appellation.

"This was a delicious and balanced Sauvignon Blanc. When a description says 'bone dry' I am always concerned that this will mean undrinkable and unpleasantly acidic. Not at all the case here; I'd certainly order again. A perfect aperitif in my opinion."
