Many of our growers practise what is called ‘sustainable viticulture’ which recognises the importance of keeping the soil healthy and alive and the vine strong and disease-resistant. Some cultivate vines ‘organically’ according to rules of a recognised discipline while others go a step further and farm biodynamically, a more holistic eco-management discipline based on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner. ##
The wines below come from growers who have received accreditation from the relevant bodies for producing grapes that have been grown using sustainable, organic or biodynamic practices.

The Wine Society is a mutual organisation, so our members' satisfaction is paramount. If, for any reason, you haven't enjoyed a wine we want to hear about it and will happily offer a credit, a replacement or a refund.
