Spain 2016

Last year saw me embark on two trips to Spain. First was a solo trip to the sun-soaked regions of Cariñena, Navarra and Rioja, where I discovered the wonderful 'octopus' vines of the Zorzal vineyard and sampled some deliciously elegant Urbina Riojas.

Later in the year I returned with Trainee Buyer Freddy Bulmer, to help create a very special blend for a top secret wine that will be released to members in several years.
