An approachable and plentiful vintage, 2018 is healthy and full of fruit and will bring a lot of pleasure across the board, and across the grape spectrum. Start enjoying the village and AC wines now, and you need not wait too long for the more serious wines either.
Alsace has some great wines in the bank, notably the 2010s (we hope to offer more of these later in the year), 2017s (elegant and fine and with great keeping potential) and 2015s (a riper, sunnier year which is reflected in a fuller style, many also for long-term cellaring, especially the sweeter styles). 2016 is something of a dark horse, with wonderful refreshing acidity, and these wines will be worth looking out for too.
