150th anniversary

Member Moments Competition

We believe that every bottle tells a story, and we’d love to hear yours. Share one of your memorable Wine Society-related moments for a chance to join us at one of our special 150th Celebration Lunches this September.

WIN: A pair of tickets to one of our Celebration Lunches

Is there a particular Wine Society bottle that holds special memories for you? Perhaps  membership passed down through generations of your family? Tell us about your  favourite Wine Society anecdotes, memory or moment, for a chance to win.

The prizes

Share your Member Moments to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to one of our special 150th Celebration Lunches being held on Sunday 8th September, worth at least £320. Five runners-up will each win a magnum of The Society’s Champagne Brut, worth £70, a wine made for us by Alfred Gratien, providers of Society bubbles for almost 120 years.

Get creative!

We don’t mind how you share your stories, the more creative the better. You could write about your Member Moments (50-400 words), send us a captioned high-resolution photo (300dpi jpg format, max 10MB), or create a piece of artwork in a medium of your choice (max size A4). You may even submit a short video clip (no more than 60 seconds). The judges will be looking for the best Society-related anecdote, memory or moment, in written or visual form, that will resonate with fellow members.
