Thomas Lehner is a passionate and energetic winemaker. He is committed to going back to basics with his approach to fine wine making. This, for him, means that he limits the intervention in both the vineyard and the winery if he can help it.
The vineyards are located on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl, and the vines have an average age of 25 years old. The soil is complex with loess, gravel and sand present which add to the mineral quality of the wines.
Grapes are picked by hand into small crates, and processed simply with wild yeasts where possible.
