Domaine d'Oncin

Seven generations of the same family have farmed this domaine since the 18th century and today Jean-Claude and Maryse Arnaud continue the tradition.

Situated at Saint-Germain-Nuelles about 25 kilometres north-west of Lyon, it comprises 14 hectares of vines planted on a mix of clay-limestone and clay-silica soils, all of which are harvested by hand and the vines themselves average 40 years of age.

The red wines are made using the classic Beaujolais technique of carbonic maceration, emphasising bright fruit flavours and aromas. The domaine also produces rosé, white, late harvest and crémant styles.
