Château Haut-Bardin

Château Haut-Bardin, owned by the Dumas family for six generations, is located in the commune of Saint-Martial, 50 kilometres south-east of the city of Bordeaux. The chalky-clay soils, covering 120 hectares, are planted to merlot (70%) and cabernet sauvignon (30%) and the vines average 25 years of age. Vinification is classic in style, carried out in stainless steel so that the fruit shows quite clearly.
