Once a convent in the 15th century, this estate lies on the southern slopes of the plateau around Belvès in southern Castillon. The estate is managed by former owner Frédéric Burriel who was retained after he sold to the Bockmeulen family a few years ago. The limestone-clay soils suit the merlot that predominates here, supported by a modicum of cabernets franc and sauvignon. No oak is used for their straight Côtes de Castillon red, which is vinified in stainless steel.
