Château Larrivaux

Larrivaux lies on a gravelly hillside in the commune of Cissac in the northern Médoc and is a fine 25-hectare estate with vines neighbouring Lafon-Rochet in Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac. It is planted with 42% merlot, 40% cabernet sauvignon, 12% petit verdot and 6% cabernet franc.

Founded in 1580, this property is one of the few that has remained in the hands of one family for more than three centuries, unusually being run by women since it began. Currently the property is owned and managed by Bérangère Tesseron, wife of Basile Tesseron, part of the family that owns Château Lafon-Rochet.
