Château Lamothe Saint-Germain is a family-owned estate in the commune of Saint-Germain-du-Puch, in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. There are 28 hectares of vines here averaging 25 years of age and planted on a mixture of chalky-clay and silica-clay.
Merlot predominates and represents 75% of plantings, the balance being cabernet franc, and the blend in the bottle is the same. All are farmed sustainably. Vinification and maturation take place in stainless steel.
