Pfeffingen

This is a small estate on the Deutsches Weinstrasse in the Pfalz region and between the village of Ungstein and the town of Bad Durkheim. There are two families here, the Eymael and Fuhrmann and together they have tended the vines through some four generations.

Several grape varieties are planted here with riesling the most important though the reputation of the house is more associated with the highly aromatic scheurebe grape. Everything is done by hand with little in the way of intervention.
