Laurenz V

Laurenz V

The colourful Laurenz V is the fifth generation of the Laurenz (Lenz) Moser family which has a very proud history in the Austrian wine business. Laurenz inherited his knowledge of wine from his grandfather Lenz Moser III who was famous for the development of high trellising systems in the 1950s, still used in vineyards across the globe today. He runs his modern winery, focusing purely on the grape variety of grüner veltliner, which he loves so much he doesn’t see the point in making wines from any other grape. The fruit is sourced from trusted growers in the Kamptal, Kremstal and Weinviertel regions and three easy-going labels are produced each year: Singing, Friendly and Charming. The aim is to make reassuringly harmonious, juicy and distinctive style grüner veltliner that will make people the world over excited about this fresh and spicy grape variety. In our view, Laurenz is certainly one of the most enthusiastic and capable ambassadors around for the job, producing high-quality, reliable and approachable wines.
