Vincent Paris is one of the new kids of Cornas and is beginning to make a reputation for himself and his appellation. Cornas genes run through his DNA: his uncle is the Robert Michel who at one time was one of the best producers in the region. Vincent trained with him and, when Robert retired, he bought his plot of very old vines at La Geynale. His cellars are modern and functional but the winemaking is traditional. He makes three cuvées of Cornas of which the Esprit Granite 60 is the best.
