Shannon Vineyards is relatively newly established, in a relatively new region, Elgin, but has a long and impressive client list for its grapes. Since their first release in 2008, their own bottlings have been growing steadily. Typically of the cooler-climate Elgin region, apples and pears are grown too.
James Downes manages both the immaculate orchards and vineyards whilst brother Stuart looks after Marketing and sales. The estate was first established in 2000 and the name pays homage to the family's Irish origins in County Cork.
