Tasting Yquem is one of the wine world’s greatest pleasures and this is especially true with this latest release. 2022 was the driest and hottest year ever at Yquem and the result is the second-richest vintage of this illustrious estate’s history after the fabled 1945.
The 2022 has just been released by the château and we’re delighted to be offering to our members in bond, in both bottles and halves.

The grapes were fully ripe by the beginning of September, with cooler temperatures triggering the onset of noble rot in October, and the warm weather that followed further concentrated the grapes. Thanks to the château’s lofty elevation (the highest in the region) and a period of cooler weather with plenty of wind, the wine has retained freshness.
This is a hugely concentrated and powerful Yquem that, as with the legendary 1945, will take time to unfurl.
