From a highly sought after family estate, this Condrieu comes from two plots that are situated in the south of the Condrieu commune. Aged in demi-muids for one year, 10% new oak, the wine displays attractive fleshy stone fruits combined with ginger and honeysuckle notes. Fleshy core with tangy acidity giving balance. Drink from 2025 to 2029. 13.5%

From 60-year-old vines and aged in oak (some of which were new) gives this wine breadth and richness. However, thanks in part to the limestone soil, expect a saltiness on the finish as well as an attractive phenolic grip giving structure to the lemon verbena, honeysuckle and yellow plums. Drink 2026 to 2031. 13.5%

Making a welcome return after the previous vintage was devastated by hail. From 60 year old clairette and blended with roussanne, grenache and bourboulenc, this wine is aged in large wooden barrels. Expect blossom, beeswax, wild fennel, grapefruit combined with lots of spice and tension. Drink from 2025 to 2033. 14%

The Rostaing estate prefer to make their Condrieu differently from their neighbours and avoid any oak in the winemaking. There is a ripeness typical of viognier, yet the palate is lifted and vibrant with lots of spice and saltiness on the finish. Drink from 2025 to 2028. 14.5%

Made up of 100-year-old marsanne (80%) with roussanne (20%), production is tiny with only four barrels. At 140-metres altitude and bordering Cornas, this wine has intensity and concentration yet with its grapefruit pithiness has great balance. Still incredibly young, it would benefit from time in bottle. Drink from 2026 to 2031. 13%
