2015 Ten years on mixed
Wines included
Domaine Chanson, Beaune Premier Cru Clos du Marconnets 2015
Lovely fresh red fruited nose, very delicious damson and ripe black cherry, a charming wine with a long finish and soft ripe tannins.
Louis Jadot, Pernand-Vergelesses Rouge Premier Cru Clos de la Croix de Pierre (Héritiers) 2015
Rich, powerful and attractive Pernand which overdelivers for the appellation.
The Society's Exhibition Gigondas 2015
Our Exhibition Gigondas was blended and aged in barrel by Louis Barruol of the celebrated Saint-Cosme estate. A late-August heatwave and ideal picking conditions ensured plenty of depth and concentration of flavour.
Château Potensac, Médoc 2015
With elegant blueberry fruit and fine, grainy tannins, this is an excellent Potensac vintage. Rightfully considered the top wine from the Médoc appellation, Potensac is under the same ownership as Léoville-Las-Cases and the same care and attention goes into its production.
Ch Peyrabon Haut Medoc 2015
The 2015 Peyrabon displays redcurrant and black-cherry notes, and a hint of spice. This has sweet, ripe fruit character and a pleasingly polished finish.
Menhir, Vin de Pays Des Cotes de Gascogne Rouge, Bouscassé 2015
Alain Brumont believes that merlot should have a part to play in the story of Madiran alongside tannat. The appellation authorities don't agree so this is a Vin de Pays! Pomerol inspired and ageworthy, as proven by a gorgeous, truffly 2004 recently tasted. Fabulous.
