With its hallmark white-pepper and pear aromas and vibrant, fresh flavour, grüner veltliner is Austria's signature grape variety. This wine is made for us by the historic Weingut Stadt Krems, with the grapes sourced mainly from the prestigious Kremstal region, famous for the quality of its grüner. A textbook example of the variety’s succulent, refreshing character, this delicious white wine is also gastronomically versatile, with a pepper-pot twist of complexity on the finish, and as a bag-in-box will stay fresh for up to six weeks. It is the ideal format for gatherings of family and friends or for enjoying by the glass when the fancy takes you. The packaging is 100% recyclable too, which is good for the planet. The Stadt Krems winery is owned by the city of Krems an der Donau, and sits in the heart of it, and so it seems entirely appropriate that this lovely wine's new label depicts the city crest.

The cardboard outer can be recycled in your usual kerbside recycling.

The inner and tap currently need specialist recycling. Please request a postage-paid bag from us by emailing wineoperations@thewinesociety.com, pop the bags and taps in the post and our specialist recycler will do the rest. Up to five bags and taps can go into each recycling bag.
