Alto de Pioz Clarete Rosado 2023
Just 40 minutes from Madrid, this vibrant clarete comes from 80-year-old vines grown at 875m in the hills of Guadalajara. A traditional Spanish rosé 'claret' made by co-fermenting red and white grapes, in this case, tempranillo and malvar, it’s part of a project to revive the region. Bursting with tart red berries, watermelon, pomegranate and a hint of strawberry yogurt, it’s rich in flavour but bone dry and super food-friendly. Great with spice, grilled veg or just a sunny afternoon.
