Domaine de l'Arfentière Mâcon Blanc 2022
A citrusy and whistle-clean Mâcon from the Sallet family, whose grapes have regularly found their way into the Society's White Burgundy. Mouthwatering, minerally unoaked chardonnay.
Clay Creek Vineyards California Chardonnay 2022
With most of the fruit for this chardonnay coming from the cooler Clarksburg AVA in the Sacramento Delta, just east of San Francisco Bay, this has lovely freshness. Peach, pineapple and mango flavours are well balanced by generous vanilla oak on this great anyday chardonnay.
Undurraga Candelabro Reserva Chardonnay Leyda Valley 2023
Chilean chardonnay with a fresh appley aroma and flavour from the cool Leyda Valley. This has been tank fermented and aged briefly on its yeast lees to confer some richness on the palate.
Val de Loire Chardonnay, Famille Bougrier 2023
Fruity, unoaked Loire chardonnay for easy, anytime drinking, with subtle floral aromas and a refreshing finish.
The Society's French Chardonnay 2023
Multi-regional chardonnay from France and the best of three worlds. The majority (60%) comes from Languedoc and especially from cooler Limoux. Weight of fruit comes from the 20% central Languedoc element. The final and essential touch comes from the Maconnais. Dry, clean and crisp. Perfect little chardonnay
Jacques Mouton 'Madeleine' Chardonnay, Franschhoek 2023
A serious standout in our 2024 Wine Champions tastings with impressive use of oak` from one of the oldest established farms in South Africa`s Franschhoek valley. This generous, creamy chardonnay will shine with seafood and creamy pasta dishes, and punches well above its weight for the price.
