Anyday Rhone Case
Wines included
Domaine Camp Galhan, Les Frigouliers, IGP Cévennes 2022
Round, soft and deliciously fruity with hints of ripe red fruits, strawberries and cherries and a touch of warm spice. This Rhône red can be drunk on the cool side.
The Wine Society`s Generation Series Vinsobres 2021
Altitude and mountain breezes make Vinsobres the ideal place to source a Côtes-du-Rhône, and this example, made for us by our old friends the Jaume family for our 150th anniversary, has bright open fruity notes of cherry and raspberry, ripe tasting but without any heaviness. Ventoux Les Traverses, Paul Jaboulet Aîné 2022
Richly flavoured and fruity but always fresh red from the slopes of Mont Ventoux. Made from majority ripe grenache with syrah in support, it offers a spot-hitting and delicious palate of ripe red berries and a touch of spice.
Côtes-du-Rhône, Bout d'Zan, Mas du Libian 2022
A beguiling mix of ripe blackberry, liquorice and olive from an estate close to the Gorges de l'Ardèche. Dark juicy, fruity and refreshing.
Côtes-du-Rhône Rive Droite Rive Gauche 2023
A stunning, fruit-packed wine with easy charm. The name was conjured up because this wine is sourced from both banks of the Rhône, with the grenache coming mainly from the left and the syrah from the village of Daumazan, near the Pont du Gard, on the right bank.
Costières de Nîmes La Ciboise, Chapoutier 2023
From a stony plateau to the south of the Roman city of Nîmes. This is an exuberantly fruity grenache-syrah blend, with blackcurrant, cherry and blackberry aromas combined with a juicy and generous body.
