The Society's Exhibition Tasmanian Chardonnay 2022

A Wine Society exclusive from Claudio Radenti of Freycinet in Tasmania, this has the island`s classic elegance and flavours of lemon and green apple that are balanced by judiciously applied oak to create a textured mouthfeel that finish with lovely mineral, chalk notes.

The Society's Exhibition Victoria Shiraz 2021

This Society exclusive comes from Mt Langi Ghiran's vineyard, which sits against a stunning backdrop of the Great Dividing Range. This punchy cassis, spice and fruit-laden Australian wine will appeal most to lovers of big, generous reds.

Australia £15.50 per bottle
2023 - 2029

The Society's Exhibition Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Margaret River is home to some of the world's finest cabernet sauvignon so it's been a pleasure to work with Vasse Felix, the founding winery of the region, to produce this example exclusively for members. The nose is wonderfully inviting, silky and black-fruit driven, while the palate is full-bodied, pristine and elegant. Vasse Felix don't make own-label wines for their customers as a rule. However, they have made an exception just for us and as a result we are honoured to give members the opportunity to taste top-quality cabernet from such a special producer at unrivalled value.

Australia £17.00 per bottle
2023 - 2028

The Society's Exhibition Hunter Valley Semillon 2019

An iconic Australian wine, Hunter semillon with a little bit of age, as here, starts to develop aromas of flint, gunpowder, kerosene and beeswax, which complements the citrus and white-fruit notes perfectly. Made for us by Brokenwood.

Australia £17.00 per bottle
2023 - 2029

The Society's Exhibition Clare Valley Riesling 2024

Zesty, mouthwatering and focused riesling and a great example of the classic Clare Valley style. The nose shows lemon pith, lime, a touch of rose petal and remarkable finesse. The palate is dart-like but without being sharp, instead being fresh and crisp, with cloudy lemonade notes, sea salt and flint. A remarkable example at the price and a serious wine in its own right. It has been produced exclusively for us by Colin McBryde from his winery neighbouring the iconic and somewhat mysterious Aussie estate Wendouree. Aside from being the man behind the very successful 'Some Young Punks' label, Colin's rieslings under his own brand, Adelina, are known for their focus, freshness and capturing the unique character of Clare Valley. It's been pleasure to work with Colin on this special project, a charming and delicious example of one of the great wine styles of Australia.

Australia £11.50 per bottle
2024 - 2030

The Society's Exhibition Barossa Shiraz 2023

This is a vibrant, medium bodied and aromatic shiraz which is a clever take on the style from Barossa before the 80s and 90s, when the trend for big, OTT and high-alcohol wines set-in. This is bursting with violets, purple fruit and pepper on the nose. The palate is fresh, zesty and juicy, with a floral finish. We wanted to show the elegance that Barossa shiraz is capable of, and one name stood out to create this – Whistler.
