Whistler Wines 'Shiver Down My Spine' Barossa Valley Shiraz 2020

Forage Supply Co. 'Spliced' Eden Valley Riesling 2022

Made for sheer drinkability and bursting with charm, 'Spliced' is suitably named after Australia's 'Splice' iced lollies. The nose is full of juicy lemon, lime, thyme and green apple, while the palate is deeply refreshing; like biting into a perfectly ripe apple, with a zesty lime twist. The ultimate sunshine white!

Australia £22.00 per bottle
2022 - 2024

Bannockburn Geelong Shiraz 2019

Full, smoky and classic Australian red with prominent olive tapenade, coffee bean and black cherry on the nose, leading to a grippy but still remarkably fresh and savoury palate. Flavours of cigar box, pepper spice and nutmeg develop well through to the finish.

Australia £31.00 per bottle
2022 - 2027

Vanguardist 'V' Blewitt Springs McLaren Vale Grenache 2021

Michael J. Corbett is arguably the greatest grenache winemaker in Australia and thanks to his skill and meticulous attention to detail his 'V' range has achieved cult-hero status in Australia. We're thrilled to have been able to secure a small parcel of this outstanding grenache for Wine Society members. A medium-weight, elegant grenache, the aromas are immediately inviting, with notes of damsons, sloes and redcurrant. The palate is serious, with incredible presence, delicious firm tannins and beautifully integrated but ever-present acidity. It's a masterclass in structural balance. Redcurrant continues on the palate and is joined by bramble and dried herbs. Complex, pristine and as nigh-on perfect as any Australian grenache buyer Freddy Bulmer has tasted.

Eastern Peake 'Intrinsic' Western Victoria Pinot Noir 2021

One of the more premium pinots from this excellent small Australian producer's range, this shows a delicious core of red-fruit, orange-peel, delicate almond and nutmeg notes on the nose. The smart palate is cherry-laden, with plum skin, plush tannins and peppery acidity. Long, fine and focused on the finish.

Australia £30.00 per bottle
2023 - 2028

Wildman Wine Astro Bunny Pét-Nat 2022

Despite the funky look of the bottle and the opaque, unfiltered wine inside, this is a beautifully pretty, clean, crisp and refreshing South Australian fizz, made from vermentino, grüner veltliner, verdejo, zibbibo and nero d'avola, from Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Riverland vineyards. The nose shows peaches, mango, passion fruit, lemon and melon fruits, with peppery spice, while the palate is foamy as opposed to overly fizzy, with fresh peach and apricot flavours and a moreish tang on the finish. A perfect apertitif and a wonderful alternative for an aperol spritz, drink well chilled and gently turn the bottle upside down to mix in the fine sediment before opening, to enjoy this generously textured but crisp, complex and fun wine.
