Refreshing light and bright chenin from the Loire Valley that is organic and vegan-friendly to boot.
Azevedo Loureiro-Alvarinho, Vinho Verde 2020
Delicately fragrant, smartly dressed blend from long-term supplier Quinta de Azevedo, combining the region's two best grapes, with little or no Vinho Verde spritz.
Bogle California Petite Sirah 2018
Dark purple in colour, with a rich, full, inky style packed with violets, blackberry and bramble fruits and well balanced vanilla oak. Bold and full-bodied this is a well balanced California red.
Framingham Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020
Complex, fun New Zealand sauvignon blanc bursting with all the exuberant fruit flavours that you would expect, and with an underlying depth. The nose shows peachy fruit and lemon zest, with an attractive salinity. The palate is crisp, fresh and textural, having seen a brief stint in oak. There is more to this Marlborough gem than meets the eye!
Nero d'Avola La Ferla, Sicilia 2019
Nero d'Avola retains great freshness despite the long Sicilian summer days. This juicy red has a soft, full mouthfeel with cherry and plum flavours.
Pecorino Abruzzo, Contesa 2020
Rocco Pasetti was one of the very first to champion the excellent local white grape pecorino, and his many years of experience growing it help him make it extremely well. It has gained a considerable and deserved following at The Society, and the 2020 is delicious: lemon rind and crushed rocks on the nose, with bright crisp acidity on the palate, orchard-fruit flavours and a dry refreshing finish. A Decanter World Wine Awards bronze medal winner 2021.
Undurraga Candelabro Itata Cinsault 2020
Juicy and succulent Rhône variety made from bushvine vineyards planted in the 1950 and 1960s in the green Itata valley of Chile.
Quinta de la Rosa 'douROSA' Tinto, Douro 2017
A cancelled airline order is our gain in this cracking Portuguese red from a smart address, with the fragrance of the Douro's traditional grapes (floral touriga nacional leading the charge), balanced by plenty of fruit and supple tannins.
Pazo de Villarei Albariño, Rías Baixas 2020
A lovely fruity introduction to the fresh, aromatic quality of Spain's now famous north-west grape, albariño, a wine that is famously wonderful with seafood.
Quinta de Porrais Sete Vales, Douro 2020
A crisp and delicately fragrant Portuguese white with the freshness that comes from high-altitude vineyards, and traditional local grape varieties which make a versatile match for salads, shellfish, seafood and poultry.
Viña Zorzal Garnacha, Navarra 2020
A generously fruited, warm-hearted garnacha made by a young winemaking team of three brothers. They`ve delivered a delicious Spanish red packed with red fruits, black pepper and no small amount of charm that proved itself a Wine Champion in 2022. It's the ideal match for a plate of cold cuts or even something a little spicier to blow away the Christmas cobwebs.
