The wines from this producer never fail to impress. In 2018 Aldo Vacca decided not to make his top cru wines as the vintage was tricky. Instead, the fruit from these premium vineyard sites went into this blend, raising the quality. Stunning scented nebbiolo with notes of rose, black tea and orange bitters.

Produttori di Barbaresco
Produttori have 100 hectares owned by 52 families and are exceptionally well managed by Aldo Vacca and his team.
They release the single-vineyard wines only in the best vintage. Barbaresco is closer to the Tanaro River river and the valley floor than the Barolo hills so tends to be hotter and more humid. It also has richer soil, so vines are more vigorous and ripen a week earlier, making wines that are a little more approachable than Barolos when young.
