The Wine Society's Generation Series Haut-Médoc 2019

A silky smooth blend of 55% cabernet sauvignon and 45% merlot from the superb 2019 vintage, this is now drinking beautifully. With vibrant, refreshing cabernet fruit combining with plump, velvety merlot this is a harmoniously balanced left bank claret of impressive purity and length. A Sunday roast classic. The Society's Exhibition Santorini Assyrtiko 2021

Following the huge success of the 2020 vintage we're delighted to release the equally delicious 2021 vintage from Artemis Karamolegos from the Greek island of Santorini. From low-lying vines averaging 50 years of age this is pure, taut and concentrated assyrtiko with lime-zest and peach flavours alongside assyrtiko's classic power and mineral, saline finish.

The Society's Exhibition Douro 2020

A blend from across the Quinta do Vale Meão and neighbouring vineyards, 2020 is in a more classical, restrained style. Traditionally foot-trodden, then aged in seasoned barriques to enhance its rock-rose perfume and wild-cherry fruit. The century-old winery has been totally refurbished, adding modern winemaking equipment but retaining the tradition of old granite lagares, where these grapes are trodden.

The Wine Society's Generation Series Vinsobres 2021

Altitude and mountain breezes make Vinsobres the ideal place to source a Côtes-du-Rhône, and this example, made for us by our old friends the Jaume family for our 150th anniversary, has bright open fruity notes of cherry and raspberry, ripe tasting but without any heaviness. France £10.50 per bottle
2024 - 2027

The Wine Society's Generation Series Rioja 2020

A limited release for our 150th is this fruity, plummy and smooth Rioja which is mostly garnacha, the grape most commonly used in Rioja in the 19th century. This has been aged for several years before bottling in 2023, including 10 months in French oak. For a video message from the winemaker, and for more on the story of this wine, please scroll down.

Spain £9.95 per bottle

The Society's Exhibition Kamptal Grüner Veltliner 2023

Ripe, opulent, stone-fruited and food-friendly white with a pepper-pot twist of complexity. This year`s ‘standout, textbook` example of Austria`s great white grape in our Wine Champions tastings, courtesy of one of its leading wineries, Bründlmayer.
