A juicy, lighter style of red-fruited cinsault that works a treat when served cool, but is capable of standing up to all manner of foods. Extremely versatile with an agreeable lightness of touch, it will absorb big flavours without bludgeoning lighter bites.
Minervois, Plaisir d'Eulalie, Château Sainte Eulalie 2022
Generous, ripe and full-flavoured Languedoc red, ripe and fruity, round and plummy in a vintage where very low yields concentrated flavours in the juice. Château Sainte Eulalie is an outstanding 34 hectare estate spread over the Aude Valley, on the south side of the Montagne Noire. Since 1996 it has been run by Laurent and Isabelle Coustal who are responsible for its excellent reputation.

Cutio Garnacha Carineña, Carineña 2020
Abundantly fruity blend of garnacha and carineña (from the Spanish region of the same name). This has delightful jammy fruit and a hint of herbs with fleshy texture and full finish. This comes from a small family project which is now run by third-generation Jorge Nevascues.
