Bilancia La Collina Hawke's Bay Syrah 2020
Considered by many to be the greatest syrah in New Zealand, this icon wine comes from the personal project of one of the country's very best winemakers, Warren Gibson. The entire UK allocation of this outstanding red is in the 10s of cases, so its a privilege to have been able to secure a small parcel especially for members. Grown, rather uniquely for the region, on a small hillside vineyard, this shows incredible intensity but a perfect balance of fullness of fruit and elegance of floral and pepper notes. A wine not to be underestimated, this is a true icon and one which will effortlessly stand the test of time.
