Bolgheri Rosso Noi 4 Tenuta Sette Cieli 2022
'Noi 4' translates to 'the four of us'. Composed of four varieties (cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot, and cabernet franc) and conceived by a team of four, this is a stylish cabernet-led blend made by the talented Elena Pozzolini, with all the exuberance and power of Bolgheri, balanced by freshness and energy, and artful use of oak. Velvety and supple fruit-cloaked tannins provide the framework for wonderfully concentrated ripe cassis, red plum, rosemary and cedar on the palate. The finish is dry, firm and saline, and this has clear ageing potential. The founders of Tenuta Sette Cieli also like the idea of sharing a bottle among four people.
