Annonce de Belair Monange, Saint-Emilion 2020

The second wine of top Saint-Émilion property Château Bélair-Monange, this has a gorgeous, scented bouquet of black cherries, plenty of fleshy, ripe fruit texture and a long finish. Tannins are suave and silky. Restrained and very classy right bank claret.

Château Laroze, Saint-Emilion 2015

The right bank of Bordeaux was particularly good in 2015, and this attractive, cedar and cigar-box scented claret is developing beautifully. Medium-weight, with lovely balance and complexity. Proper old-school Saint-Emilion.
