Château Bellegrave, Pauillac 2016
This fine estate of just over 8 hectares neighbours several top grand cru vineyards and the 2016 has lovely richness balanced by freshness and structure. A classic blend of cabernet (55%) and merlot (45%), this is starting to hit its peak. The 2016 harvest was spread out, with each plot of vines picked only when they had reached optimal ripeness.
