The top dry white from Château Chantegrive in the Graves, the Cuvée Caroline is a blend of equal parts old-vine semillon and sauvignon blanc which has been aged in 50% new oak barrels for nine months. The resulting Bordeaux white is rounded and satisfying, with notes of grapefruit and lanolin and a long, creamy finish.

This is the top white wine from Château Chantegrive in the Graves, and has been listed for the first time by The Wine Society.Half semillon and the other half sauvignon blanc with a dash of sauvignon gris, this is everything you could want fro a dry white Bordeaux. It has some evolution from five years of bottle age, and is full-bodied and rich in character, with vibrant aromas and flavours of lemon curd on toast. Very classy, a satisfying mouthful, voted a Wine Champion by the inhouse buying team.
