Château La Font-Neuve, Médoc 2018
With vibrant, polished merlot fruit to the fore, and cabernet sauvignon adding tension and structure, this is an attractive claret from the Videau family. Good fruit density and a long, satisfying finish. Very good value. The blend is 80% merlot and the balance cabernet sauvignon. The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
