Champagne Collard-Picard Perpetuelle 12 Années Extra Brut NV
Champagne from France - Champagne
Maison Collard-Picard's 12 Années is a masterful blend of 12 different harvests - bookended by two fantastic vintages, with 70% comprised of reserve wines from 2008 to 2018, and 30% from the 2019 vintage - creating a rich, complex, toasty Champagne. Aromas of bright citrus, freshly-baked croissant and roasted hazelnuts lead to a creamy mousse with lemon curd and red apple flavours. This still young grower Champagne house has achieved a delicious balance of richness and freshness in this layered multi-vintage Champagne; one to watch. Maison Collard-Picard are fourth-generation vine growers in Champagne, through the families of Olivier Collard and Caroline Picard, with their modern history starting in 1996 when Olivier and Caroline founded their own house. What started as approximately 2.5 hectares of vines in Olivier's grandfather's time, is now 16 hectares, across the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs.
