The 2020 vintage was of exceptional quality throughout Bordeaux. The Pitray is ripe, round and generous, with deep colour, and the plump merlot fruit that dominates the blend is complemented by cabernet franc and a splash of malbec, both varieties adding structure and complexity of flavour. Plum, cherry and chocolate notes and ripe tannins complete the picture.
