La Geynale is regarded as Vincent Paris’ top vineyard site, a single parcel in the Reynard vineyard that is planted to 100-year-old vines. Its rare south-facing exposition on a steep slope produces full-bodied wines with pronounced tannins and, thanks to 100% whole-bunch fermentation, beautiful perfume and freshness. This three-bottle case contains one bottle each of the 2019, 2020 and 2021 vintages. 2019 is still youthful with plenty of substance and grip, 2020 is a vintage ‘solaire’ with richness and accessibility but minimal extremes leading to a fresh profile with instant appeal and 2021 is much lighter in style, with a cooler fruit profile than 2019 and 2020 and is approachable earlier.
