White Wine from France - Rhone
A full-bodied, unctuous, rich and creamy Rhône white, made from roussanne and viognier in the main. Though fermented in oak, it doesn't show, and the wine has a real sense of balance, not to mention great texture and complexity.

Mas de Bressades
This is a well-established estate a dozen or so miles from the centre of Nîmes. The Marès family has been here for six generations, closely involved with wine and not just here but in Bordeaux as well.
The Costières lie on a low and windswept plateau between Nîmes and the Rhône delta. Soils are able to retain humidity here, which explains why, of all grapes, syrah and mourvèdre do as well as the ubiquitous grenache.
