Wines included

Collision IPA, Unity Brewing Co, Southampton (6.2%, 440ml)

Full, fresh, hazy IPA with lifted aromas of citrus pith, orange peel and lemongrass on the nose. The palate is full but not heavy and is deliciously refreshing! Delicate notes of clove spices come through on the palate, making this a wholesome and generous IPA.

Green Mountain Session IPA, Thornbridge Brewey, Derbyshire (4.2%, 330ml)

A truly delicious example of 'modern session IPA' which is lightly hazy and full of flavour, with a lovely softness on the palate. Hopped with Australian and American hops, and named after the mountains of Vermont, this is very much inspired by the cutting edge IPAs of the USA, with mango, pineapple and guava notes.

JUPA Pale Ale, Five Points Brewing Co, London (5.5%, 330ml)

From the core range of one of London's great craft breweries, this juicy pale ale is hopped with simcoe, mosaic and citra hops and is exceptionally refreshing. The beer is bursting with tropical pineapple and mango notes and is not too bitter, making for a cracking thirst-quencher.

London 1890 Export Stout, The Kernel Brewery, London (7.5%, 330ml)

Although every batch is a little different, The Kernel have always brewed consistently outstanding beers. Made using a 130-year-old recipe, this shows dark mocha notes on the nose making way for a rich, cacao and malty palate. Enjoy in a large wine glass to make the most of the heavenly aromas.

Nico Köln Lager, Orbit Brewing, London (4.8%, 330ml)

Inspired by the Kölsch beers of the German city of Cologne (Köln) this is an easy drinking, highly refreshing beer which is stylistically similar to lager but is brewed like an ale. The nose has fragrant apple, citrus and herbal notes and the palate shows a lovely balance of hop and malt character.

The Pfeffernüsse Stout, Anspach & Hobday, London (6%, 440ml)

Anspach & Hobday are perhaps most well known for the quality of their dark beers so it's no surprise that their Christmas stout should be outstanding! This is rich, malty and full-bodied, with perfectly balanced and delicate notes of ginger and cinnamon. Far more than just a gimmick, this is a superb wintry beer.
