Join us for a new series, Dining with the Stars—an unforgettable evening at a Michelin-starred restaurant, where exquisite cuisine meets world-class wine. Expect behind-the-scenes stories, expert insight, and a dining experience that sparkles from start to finish. A true celebration of fine food, outstanding wine, and the people who bring them to life.
Join us for a very special Dining with the Stars dinner – an unforgettable evening at Cornus in Belgravia, London. The incredible team at Cornus are crafting a delicious four-course menu, to be served in their main dining room. Each course will be expertly paired with a truly stellar line-up of wines by our special guest and Head of Buying, Pierre Mansour.
The final menu and wine selection will be confirmed and published in early August. Subject to final confirmation, the wine selection will feature the following:
Chateau Latour 1998
Ridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 magnum
If any changes are needed, the wines selected will be of similar quality and style.
A message from Pierre Mansour:
Cornus has been on my bucket list since it opened last year because it’s the same team behind the Medlar in Chelsea, one of my favourite London restaurants. They know their wines as well as their food. Cornus is fine dining and the talk of the wine trade at the moment- small plates with big, precise flavours, beautifully presented yet unpretentious. This is an unmissable opportunity to drink some exceptional wines of a calibre that will undoubtedly create a memorable experience.
About Cornus:
Newly opened in August 2024, located in the heart of London’s Belgravia within Eccleston Yards resides Cornus. An independently owned restaurant from David O’Connor and Joe Mercer Nairne of the acclaimed Chelsea restaurant Medlar.
Cornus earned a Michelin Star in the 2025 Michelin Guide, along with best Newcomer at The Belgravia awards, 16th in the top 100 Squaremeal London restaurants, made the Top 100 UK restaurant list on Opentable. Cornus ranked highly in La Liste – The World’s best 1000 restaurants.
Executive Chef Gary Foulkes offers a regularly changing menu showcasing a bounty of British and European seasonal produce through precise and vibrant cookery. Head Pastry Chef Kelly Cullen, one of Britain’s brightest young pastry chefs, has crafted our dessert menu from comforting classics to new and exciting concepts. Sit back, relax, and let the Tastings & Events team guide you through the wonders of food and wine pairing, whether it be at a restaurant takeover, themed dinner, Members’ lunch, or foodie masterclass. Our team will help members learn the building blocks of how the flavours and sensations in food and wine interact. The menus for the events are usually provided on registration but do let us know of any dietary or seating requirements.
To ensure our tastings and events run smoothly and are enjoyed by all, we would ask members and guests to:
• Be respectful of others by moving away from the tables once a sample has been poured, unless talking with a producer or staff member
• Be aware of others waiting to try the wines when talking to producers and staff members
• Not wear perfume or aftershave as this can make it difficult for others to taste the wines
• Avoid crowding around the spittoons to keep them accessible to others
• Avoid bringing large bags into the room or wearing back packs, for the comfort of others
• Be mindful of your alcohol intake and make use of the spittoons and water provided.
Please note that:
• We operate a Challenge25 policy and you or your guest/s may therefore be asked to show ID to confirm being over 18. We reserve the right to refuse service should it be deemed necessary.
• We have a duty of care to Society, venue and agency staff, winemakers and producers in attendance, as well as to members and guests. Any inappropriate behaviour or harassment will therefore not be tolerated. Instances of inappropriate behaviour or harassment will be dealt with by the Events Manager or Head of Tastings & Events in attendance, and if it's deemed that the behaviour is harmful, the offender will be asked to leave the tasting, with further action to follow.
