A cool site in a warm year spells balance. This is a lovely wine made with 100% whole bunches and matured 18 months in barrel, this is a ripe yet fresh wine with smooth tannins and considerable finesse. Post global warming and in the right hands top Maranges like this is a lovely and attractive red Burgundy with no rough edges.
